Resilience through culture

Cristian Pătrăşconiu interviews (in Romanian) Mihai Nadin: from childhood in a country ravaged by World War 2, to school and university memories and the beginning of a scholarly life still unfolding. Electronics, computer science, mathematics, design and also semiotics, aesthetics, and anticipatory systems. In the process, Mihai Nadin established new fields of research, such as computational design, visualization, the semiotics of human-computer interaction, aging and games; and he educated students from all over the world. His most recent book: Disrupt Science. The Future Matters (Springer, December 2023) advances a new view of science informed by the awareness of sustainability.
